Monocrystalline Solar Panel

With a conversion efficiency as high as 23%, this 100W monocrystalline solar panel keeps you charged with the sun’s power! It is specifically designed for outdoor use and even unexpected power outages. At only 9.1 lbs, this solar panel is lightweight, foldable, and comes with an easy-to-carry handle, making it more portable.

Perfect for Off-Grid Use

Setting up the Jackery Solar Saga 100 is quick, and you can start soaking up energy from the sun to power your device. The TPE rubber handle makes it easy to carry around in off-grid conditions.

Solar Panel Conversion Rate

The solar panel uses multi-layer cell technology to turn sunlight into energy with a conversion efficiency of up to 23%, much better than conventional panels.

Solar Panel Durability

The solar panel’s case is laminated with ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene), making it durable enough to prolong the device’s life. It is water-resistant to IP65 standards, meaning water splash will not damage it (do not place it under a downpour or soaking water, however). The zippers on the pocket can hold the power cords and the power ports are covered.

Jackery Compatibility

The Jackery Explorer 500/1000 power station can be powered using this solar panel. Solar Saga 100 has one USB-C(5V,3A) output port and one USB-A(5V, 2.4A) output port to power two small devices directly.

How do Monocrystalline Solar Panels Work?

Monocrystalline solar panels use the photovoltaic effect to convert sunlight into electricity. When sunlight hits the panel, it energizes the electrons in the silicon. The energized electrons then flow through the silicon and generate an electrical current. This current is collected by wires on the back of the panel and sent to an inverter, which converts the direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC) that can be used to power homes and businesses.

Benefits of Monocrystalline Solar Panels

  1. High Efficiency: Monocrystalline solar panels are the most efficient type of solar panel available. They have an efficiency rate of up to 22%, which means they can convert up to 22% of the sunlight that hits them into electricity. This makes them an ideal choice for homeowners who want to maximize their energy production.
  1. Long Lifespan: Monocrystalline solar panels have a long lifespan of up to 25 years. They are made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and temperature changes. This means that they will continue to generate electricity for many years, providing a reliable source of renewable energy for your home or business.
  1. Space Efficiency: Monocrystalline solar panels are also space-efficient. They require less space than other types of solar panels to generate the same amount of electricity. This is because they have a higher power output per square foot than other types of solar panels. This makes them an ideal choice for homeowners who have limited roof space but still want to generate enough electricity to power their homes.
  1. Aesthetically Pleasing: Monocrystalline solar panels have a sleek and uniform appearance that many homeowners find aesthetically pleasing. They have a black or dark blue color that blends in well with most roof types and does not detract from the home’s overall appearance.
  1. Good Performance in Low-Light Conditions: Monocrystalline solar panels perform well in low-light conditions, such as cloudy or overcast days. This is because they are designed to capture as much sunlight as possible and convert it into electricity. This makes them a good choice for homeowners who live in areas with less sunlight or who want to generate electricity during the winter months when sunlight is less intense.
