Flexible Solar Panel

This 100W flexible solar panel is designed to make solar energy accessible to everyone, regardless of their location or power needs.

Exceptional Flexibility

Our flexible solar panel is exceptionally light, making it easy to move or mount wherever you need it. It’s 70% lighter than traditional solar panels and can flex up to 258 degrees, making it easy to fit the unique shape of your RV or van without affecting solar input.

Solar Cells Efficiency

With an excellent efficiency rating of 23%, our 100W flexible solar panel can charge even faster than other solar panels. The panel’s integrated bypass diodes prevent overheating while maintaining cell performance, even in shaded environments. It’s compatible with Power Kits setup or EcoFlow portable power station, and the integrated MPPT algorithm optimizes your solar input.

Resistant Solar Panel

Our 100W flexible solar panel is built to weather any storm, capturing solar energy through even the heaviest rain. The panel’s solar cells are protected with an ETFE film, making it durable in humid and dry environments. Water and dust resistance were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum water depth of 1 meter for up to 72 hours.)

How do Flexible Solar Panels Work?

Flexible solar panels use thin layers of photovoltaic (PV) materials that convert sunlight into electricity. The PV materials are deposited onto a flexible substrate, such as plastic or metal, which allows the solar panel to bend and flex. This is in contrast to traditional solar panels, which use rigid materials such as glass and aluminum.

What are the Main Benefits of a Flexible Solar Panel?

One of the benefits of flexible solar panels is their lightweight and thin profile. Traditional solar panels can weigh up to 40 pounds, while flexible solar panels can weigh as little as 2 pounds. This makes them easier to install and transport, which is particularly useful in remote locations.

Another benefit is their flexibility, which allows them to be used in a variety of applications. Flexible solar panels can be integrated into building materials, such as roofing and siding, to provide a source of renewable energy for homes and buildings. They can also be used in backpacks, tents, and other outdoor gear to provide power for camping and hiking trips.

What to Check When Choosing a Flexible Solar Panel

When choosing a flexible solar panel, there are several factors to consider. The first is the type of PV material used in the panel.

Another factor to consider is the size and power output of the panel. The power output of a flexible solar panel is measured in watts (W). The higher the wattage, the more power the panel can produce. However, larger panels are also heavier and less flexible. Consider your energy needs and the size and weight of the panel when choosing the right one for you.

The durability of the panel is another important factor to consider. Flexible solar panels are more prone to damage than traditional solar panels due to their thin and lightweight construction. Look for panels with durable materials and coatings that can withstand harsh weather conditions.
